6.8.34.3. Description

The pan_InjectorCompConfig_DI block configures the fuel rail pressure (FRP) analogue input used to convert injection volume requests into units of time. As described in Section 6.5.2, “Direct injection” just prior to each direct injection pulse is made, the fuel rail pressure analogue input is sampled. Any volume request is converted to a duration using a 2D lookup map. This technique compensates for rapid variation in the fuel rail pressure that may occur after the injection schedule is requested by the application.
