MATLAB crash error

The reason Matlab crashes is because the build process tries to access a parameter that does not exist in reference configurations. The patch prevents accessing this parameter.

An OpenECU reference configuration created with Matlab 2018b and earlier will not work with with models in Matlab 2019a and later. The patch does not fix this, a new configuration must be created for the model to build.
