Tech Spec Addendums
Every option control and modification for our ECUs has an addendum for the technical specification, which we will send upon request. If your ECU contains a modification or option, please contact OpenECU support to request the addendum.
If you are not sure if your ECU contains a modification or option, most likely it does not. You must specifically ask for the mod/option and pay extra for it. However, here is a guide to help you determine if you have an option or modification.
Your ECU has an option or modification if any of the following are true:
- Your ECU is something other than an M110, M220, M250, M460, M461, or M670
- For example, if you have an M210
- You paid extra for a modification
- Your ECU part number (on the label) contains "modX", where X is a number.
- This is for older ECUs. Recently the part numbering scheme changed - see the next bullet point.
- The last two digits after the 2nd dash are not 01 OR the last three digits after the 3rd dash are not 000
- Example, your part number is 01T-068276-0102-001.
- The "-0102" shows that you have mod 02 (the last two digits after the 2nd dash show mod level).
- The "-001" shows you have option 001 (the last three digits after the 3rd dash show option).
- Example, your part number is 01T-068276-0102-001.
