= My current draw is too high =

If your ECU is drawing more than the expected current please check the following:

    1. Disconnect all wires to the ECU '''except''' V,,pwr,,, ground, and ignition.  Refer to the [[Technical Specification|technical specification]] of your ECU for these pins.
        * If you are still measuring too much current, then check your loom for a short between these pins and wires.
    1.  If your current measurement is now as expected, then:
        * Re-connect each wire one at a time to determine which circuit is causing the high current draw.  
        * Investigate your loom for short circuits. 
        * Investigate your inputs and actuators for short circuits.
